What is Screen for Success?
Screen for Success, in association with the Wyoming Department of Health, spreads awareness about the benefits of early childhood developmental screenings for all children ages 0-5. We provide access to unique educational resources, connect families to screening centers in their area, and connect child care providers across Wyoming with each other. Our mission is to shine a positive light on developmental screenings, and to foster a supportive community of kids, families, and child care professionals.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a screening cost?
It’s free in Wyoming!
How often should my child have a screening?
Once before they turn two, and once more before their fifth birthday.
What do screenings test?
Developmental screenings monitor milestones associated with every stage of development, including vision, hearing, and other motor and physical skills, cognitive abilities, social and emotional skills, and communication and language abilities.
Why are screenings important?
Developmental screenings help identify whether a child has a delay in their cognitive or physical growth. If a delay is detected, the next steps can be taken to help that child’s family get the help and resources they need.
